We are a TamBram family with our roots in Thanjavur and despite having immigrated to Chennai and beyond, our hearts (and stomachs!) remain there. We've started this blog to document the time-tested and much-cherished recipes that we have collected over the years. The goal of this blog is not merely documentation, it is to share these recipes with the world. We also hope that this blog will inspire beginners to pick up their karandis and try their hand at making some authentic Thanjavur cuisine!
